People are supportive and as a start up its easy to acquire plenty of responsibility if you can seem like it. As an intern plenty of responsibilities depending on your ability and desire to contribute. High turnover rate due to slightly low pay. Also as a sales employee the leads are tough so expect a lot of resistance. Have training for newer employees and make a manual so new people know how to fit in faster. As a consulting company, they work with a really wide range of clients.
I've gotten an opportunity to see everything from direct-response digital campaigns to branding traditional media campaigns and event marketing. Everyone is really knowledgeable and always happy to share what they know. The days are busy, really busy. Depending on your personality, that might be a pro or a con for you. Because it is a small company, you get a lot of hands on experience across many company functions.
