I play for about hours a day, so I can put the time into is. I am thinking inscription or maybe alchemy? Any suggestions for a good pair to make gold?

If you want to put hours a day into making gold, inscription is your best move. Mill the herbs, make all the glyphs, aggressively camp the AH.

If this sounds as miserable to you as it does to me, then farm elites for the savage blood and make upgrade tokens any profession. Inscription made me a lot of gold at the start of the expansion. Lots of returning players and boosted 90s. On one server glyphs are selling for less than 15g each.

Occasionally I will sell glyphs at a profit on my main server, though it is high-pop so I am normally undercut within an hour if not sooner. Gold making from professions seems to be a lot more balanced across all professions this expansion, though a lot harder as well.

Spend your time playing the game rather than babysitting the AH. I've made a decent amount of gold selling the ilvl wands and off-hands, but I've been lucky with the stat combinations I generated.

I don't think Inscription, or at least glyph-selling, has been hit as hard by the WoD changes as some professions. In MoP I was making between and gold a day off glyphs, and now I'm making between and And I think most of that reduction has been due to server merges increasing supply.

My problem has been more that I'm bored with glyph-making and glyph-selling, but I guess that's a separate issue.

Selling glyphs is a competitive market but very profitable. I make about k gold a day with glyphs. I spend about 40 minutes overall reposting glyphs each time it takes about 8 minutes..

I mill mats during scans to save time. You do need a couple addons though Auctionator, TSM, Postal Selling glyphs without them will not get you very far.

Buying mats for cheap is also important. I found spamming trade chat is the best way to get herbs for low prices. Plus you can sell upgrades every now and then with your War paints for some extra gold.. Have something to say? Log in to join the conversation.
